It looks like Modern Warfare 2 isn’t the only game Glu will be developing for mobile handses as it was recently announced that the studio will also get their hands on Blur, Guitar Hero 5, and Tony Hawk: Ride.

There are absolutely no details regarding gameplay for any of these games but we do know that they will be released this year for Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile, and Java-based handsets.

Anyone excited? I still don’t understand why they aren’t releasing these games for the iPhone.

We heard Microsoft is getting ready for something only we didn’t know what it is exactly. It looks like Microsoft is hiring people to develop stuff for the Zune platform.

The Job listings say: “Zune Services is building an entertainment store for a wide range of Zune clients or ‘tuners.’ Today these tuners include the Windows PC client, the Zune web site and the Zune device; in the future there will be more. Each of these tuners access a set of rich web services implemented by Zune and soon by Musiwave as well.” Are we going to see a Zune marketplace? Is it going to be available for Windows Mobile phones? Are we going to see Microsoft’s recently acquired Musiwave to power up all this?

A different listing asks for an user experience designer to focus on various aspects of the Zune: device UI, Zune PC client and then Zune Xbox. Adding Zune to the Xbox universe is a smart way to go and it should have already happened. We will keep you posted on Microsoft’s Zune and Windows Mobile Xbox ventures.
