According to Microsoft’s official Xbox website, Xbox Live may be seeing some techincal difficulutes. No, you won’t be shut out of the service completely but if you’re looking to download items you have already purchased or download original Xbox titles through Games on Demand, you may be seeing some problems.

Luckily, Microsoft is aware of the problem and is working hard to fix it. We’ll keep you updated.

Koei has been doing quite well with the Dynasty Warriors series for years now. Sure, they’ve got a lot of reviewers bored to tears by the repetitive gameplay and storylines, but the cult following of the series is quite happy with how things go every time. They’re certainly smart about how they sell it as well, with my brand spanking new copy of Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, purchased on the release date only setting be back a mere $40.

One of the perks of the title is the custom character mode where you can assemble your own legendary warrior(s) for use in the game. You start off with a handful of outfits and though you unlock more as you play, the variety is not as wide as one would hope, but they’re going to remedy this soon via DLC. I definitely feel appreciated as a fan because all the DLC for the game is completely free of charge. They’re also adding in a pack of new background music for those who are a fan of their odd composite of traditional asian music and rock.

Microsoft’s “Xbox Live Originals” service allowed gamers who were afflicted with a twinge of nostalgia or an unfortunate low cash flow to download some classic titles like Halo and Fable. It was a good idea, except for the fact that they’re all available for an even lower price online in the original disc format. As you might imagine Microsoft hasn’t been seeing quite the high sales from this offering they had initially hoped for.

They’ve announced that there’s only one game left for the Xbox Originals service. After that gets posted Microsoft will leave the games available for purchase of course but will be focusing their efforts in other directions. They haven’t announced exactly what the game is, but smart money of course points at Halo 2. With Microsoft having abandoned backwards compatibility updates some time ago this means that to play any neglected favorites you’ll have to go out and find a used Xbox. Hey, at least those don’t have any RRoD issues.

As E3 continues so does the onslaught of information — Next up is Microsoft with an Avatar announcement but wait, before you stop reading might actually be something you care about.

Other than funny looking clothes of all shapes and sizes Micrsoft let us known that you’ll be able to dress your Avatar with clothing touting things such as your favorite game.

In addition to this Microsoft’s Marc Whitten says that a bunch of other free items, add-ons, and outfits will be made unlockable along with a bunch of premium items added ot the Xbox Live Marketplace.
