Can you speak Japanese? If not, it doesn’t matter, you’ll still be able to see the awesomeness contained in the recently released trailer for Yakuza 4, included above. Said trailer does a great job showing you everything that you’ll be able to do in the game from smackin’ baddies with motorcycles to getting personal massages.

Unfortunately, Yakuza 4 won’t be out in the United States anytime soon. In fact, Yakuza 3 is just making its way onto our shores on March 9th, 2010. So, we probably won’t be seeing Yakuza 4 for at least a year, if not more considering it will be out in Japan on March 18th of this year.

That’s the game — not the infamous Japanese organized crime gang — that’s coming to North America and Europe in March 2010. The SEGA published game is already available in Japan, under the name Ryu ga Gotoku. Yakuza 3 for the rest of the world will maintain the Japanese dialogue, and will be subtitled instead.

As for the gang, well, we’re pretty sure they’re already in North America and Europe.

Fans of the Yakuza series will know that it took some time before SEGA finally decided to release a North American version of their hugely popular Yakuza 2. Well, if recent rumors are to be believed, we may not be subject to such a tedious wait with Yakuza 3.

Rumors come to us from 1UP who says that an anonymous source close to the project told them that “Yakuza 3 is currently being localized for release in the U.S. and European markets”.

As with any rumor, take this with a grain of salt, at least until we hear and official announcement from SEGA, that is.
